How Did I Get Started?
I attribute my organizational skills to my mother. At an early age, she taught us to put things away before moving onto something else. My family knew exactly where things belonged because everything had been assigned a "home." I learned many time-saving tips from my mom and have used them successfully in my life. I feel fortunate to always have considered myself to be an organized person.
Since getting my Business Administration degree, I have worked for more than 20 years in "corporate America." I've achieved many successes in my work, but never felt the satisfaction of truly making a difference in someone's life. One day, when returning home from a business trip, I read an article about how a family enlisted the help of an organizer to turn their lives around. I investigated this profession as soon as I got home and was pleasantly surprised to find the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO).
The more I learned about professional organizing, the more excited I got because I knew this would be a perfect fit for me! I knew my passion for order and simplicity could transfer into skills and practical solutions I could share with others. In March of 2000, I helped my first client. Since then, I have worked with numerous people and organized many different areas of homes and offices. I never grow tired of being a witness to the positive transformations (both physical and emotional) that result from getting organized. What are you waiting for? Call today!
